Gallery 6 opened it’s doors in July 2017, breathing new life into a former coach house located on Stodman Street in the beautiful historic town of Newark on Trent.

Newark on Trent is situated on the banks of the River Trent, and  is a picturesque town steeped in history and buildings of interest.  The gallery is  a stone’s throw from the  Newark Castle (infamous for the death of King John in 1216) and opposite the renowned Prince Rupert Public house, built in 1452, and a real historical gem forming a must-see stop on Newark’s Civil War Trail.

Gallery 6 consists of two large, bright and ever-changing exhibiting spaces spread over two floors and two intimate studios, used for exhibitions, artist seminars and artist workspace.  We pride ourselves on sourcing local, national  and international artists and  displaying the highest quality art throughout the year from painters, sculptors, ceramicists, jewellers, glass designers, mixed media artists and more.
