‘In Arcadia Ego’ – ‘I am in Paradise’ is a glorious exhibition inspired by visits to Arcadia Garden in Sheffield by artist Jane Hindmarch.

The garden was created by Sheffield based landscape architects Doug Baker and Charlotte Liu. It is a unique naturalistic, perennial garden, an evolving experiment in plant communities and natural balance. Its varied habitats include woodland, meadow, dry areas and tall herbaceous environments, which form the inspiration for Janes creativity.

Jane’s exhibition of limited edition prints and sculptures explore the garden as a metaphor for life’s changing seasons – a space for beauty, growth, stillness and renewal. Each print reflects the ebb and flow of the seasons and the gardens transformations and rhythms.
