‘Painting and drawing have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. It’s what I love to do. I work in oil for its richness of colour and variation in texture, painting subjects that I find beautiful which seem to ask to be painted. I paint as often as I possibly can. I received an honours degree in art and worked in the commercial art field for almost twenty years.’
